Our starting point
Evaluate GetResponse for email campaigns, audience growth and the specific content or webinar features you need. Evaluate HighLevel when multiple client workspaces and a broader delivery process justify consolidation.

| Main buying question | Will this replace enough of the current stack? | Can this solve the campaign need without a wider migration? |
Start with the service your client buys
If the client pays you to produce campaigns and improve an email journey, moving its CRM may create work without adding value. If it buys an ongoing lead-to-appointment service, account structure and follow-up operations may matter more. Write down the result you are responsible for and the parts of the software that contribute to it.
Select the correct GetResponse tier
GetResponse’s current pricing separates Starter, Marketer, Creator and Enterprise. Published differences include automation, webinar, course and enterprise capabilities. The presence of a feature somewhere on the website does not mean it is included in every plan. Confirm the specific plan, audience requirements and any applicable limits before using a price in a proposal.
Compare the cost of the whole service
For a newsletter client, an email platform plus the client’s existing website may be enough. For a client that also needs appointment scheduling, a CRM and several communication channels, compare the combined price of those tools. Do not subtract the cost of a tool unless you have a credible plan to retire it.
- Include implementation time, not only the first subscription invoice.
- Compare the same billing period and account for annual prepayment.
- Keep a realistic allowance for the software that remains in use.
- Ask who will own the account and how the client can leave with its data.
Protect the audience during a switch
Move consent records and suppression information together with contact details. Verify segments on a small sample, send only to recipients you are entitled to contact, and confirm the sending setup with the selected provider. A new platform is not a reason to restart contact with unsubscribed recipients. This checklist is general planning guidance, not a product-tested import procedure.
Keep the decision small where possible
Choose the smallest software change that solves the current service problem. A focused GetResponse rollout can be an appropriate choice when email or content delivery is the priority. A HighLevel pilot can make sense when the benefit depends on several parts of the client stack moving together. Establish acceptance criteria before committing the rest of your clients.
